THE WORKSHOP

You will enjoy daily plein-aire excursions to various sites, including famous Yosemite views, hidden marvels of nature, and quaint buildings in the historic towns of Coulterville or Columbia. Each morning begins with a trip to the plein aire location of the day and demonstration by the instructor. The instructor will be available to provide individual guidance. A delicious picnic lunch will be provided on site, followed by more painting. A critique session with encouragement and clear direction will wrap up the exciting afternoon. Upon our return to Pine Mountain Lake, you may have a little time to relax, paint, or perhaps get together to photograph the wildlife (often just outside your back door)! Your evenings can be fi lled with a variety of optional activities including, a tour of the area, or a guided walk in delicious darkness to view brilliant starry skies. Join us for fi ve nights and four full days (Monday through Thursday) of painting in the Scenic Sierras. We’ve included two additional nights of lodging (Sunday and Thursday) to allow you to fully enjoy this great location.
