Sean is an award-winning and nationally recognized mixed media artist with an MFA from Pratt Institute. He teaches painting at University of Vermont and throughout North America. Participants will work in oil (traditional or water-soluble) or pastel or both. Sean will demonstrate both mediums. Students of all experience levels will feel at home in this hand-on exploration of traditional oil as well as the new water-soluble oils. Using pictures, original work and demonstrations, Sean will lead the class though several of his favorite combinations of sketching and under-painting mediums on a variety of supports. He combines excellent instruction, dynamic demonstrations, and individual attention so students learn and paint a lot, too. Let Sean show you how to develop a painting that gets everyone's attention! Sean's workshops are always popular and his paintings are in numerous private and corporate collections. His work has appeared in many national and international publications including Caroline Jasper's, "Power Color." Sean has literally written the book, The Mixed Media Sourcebook and Painting with Watersoluble Oils. Here's a chance to learn from a marvelous master!
